Sometimes due to malfunctioning of hardware devices, a number of errors occur. It is simple to understand that if a certain thing is not being accessed, you will have to see some error against that problem. Same is the case with I o device error 1117. Users have seen this error several times while trying to boot the computer.

The meaning of this sentence is, Input output error and the code is 1117. There are several devices in your computer that are used for input and output purposes. Some of them like flash drives, cache drives and hard drives are used for both input and output services. There are several data cables (data busses) that transfer the data to these devices so that you can perform the read and write operations.

When there are some errors at 1117, that means that there are some problems at the hardware bus level and that needs to be corrected. There is some specific data bus where reading or writing operation is not being done in a timely and required manner. That is why this shows an 1117 error. Some people say that this data access point is blocked or it is a point where there are addresses of sectors are coming from the hard disk that is why it shows the errors. Whatever it is, there is no specific solution for this problem.

I o device errors can be managed with some software if they are not that bad to be recovered. If you are getting this I o error 1117, then the first thing that you can do is that you can connect your hard drive on some other computer to see if it is working perfectly or not. If it shows the same error there also, then there is no error of mother board or data bus, there must be some problem with the sectors of hard disk. Sectors are like lines that are sketched so that data can be written on it. Sectors can be determined just like lines on a notebook.

There are a little chances of recovery when you are dealing with hard disk recovery. There is some software available on the internet that can detect and recover hard disk’s bad sectors, but it is good to replace the hard disk as if you have some important data on the drive, it might be destroyed if the problem occurs again.
