Yahoo mail error code 6 is an error which does not allow you to receive or view your new emails that should be in your inbox. This error usually occurs due to the java applet which is pre installed in new browsers like Internet Explorer 7, Internet Explorer 8 beta, Firefox 3. This is because Yahoo mail server does not support java applet. This mail error 6 occurs due to software compatibility. This error has not been solved by Yahoo yet, which I think is really frustrating for people who use Yahoo mail and get these errors.
Yahoo mail error code 6 can be solved very easily. I would suggest you should use the older versions of Internet Explorer or Firefox, because with these versions, Yahoo Mail just works fine. And what else would anyone else want when they get no errors from their email client. Well, this was my personal suggestion. Apart from this if you really want to get rid of this yahoo mail error code 6. All you have to do is set your Internet setting according to make your email client work. Below are given some steps to resolve this issue, I hope this will help you out.
1: Go to Tools in your Internet browser window,
2: You will be able to see Internet Options there, click on it and then you will see a small window, then you must find and select Advance tab.
3: Then all you have to do is just scroll down and find if you have Microsoft Virtual Machine listed.
4: If you have the Microsoft Virtual Machine listed down, just clear the box against the 2 java’s listed.
5: Make sure JIT box is checked, click apply then ok.
And I am sure that this will resolve the issue and if it doesn’t, then I must say you must go for the old browser.
